Welcome to the Going Beyond The Baseline website.

2019 Honorary Captain

Tiffany Harris

Coach Tiffany Harris has dedicated over 25 years of her life to the youth in our area serving on the Area Substance Abuse Council since 1994, directing the Ebony Illusion Dance Team since 1994, and directing the Genesis Volleyball Club since 2004.

As a Certified Prevention Specialist for the Area Substance Abuse Council (ASAC) Coach Harris has served 25 years helping  educate youth about the dangers of alcohol and drugs through research based programming.

Since 1994 Coach Harris has served as coach and director of the Ebony Illusion Dance Team.  “It is so important to give our youth positive alternative activities to do so they can make positive choices and be good citizens in their communities and society.”

Tiffany has served as coach and director of Genesis Volleyball Club since 2004.  Her club has invited the less fortunate kids and allowed them the chance to learn the game of volleyball.  “It is so important to erase the barriers that they have experienced.”

Some of the many awards Coach Harris has received include the Local Hero Award, Community Smile Award, Gold Key Award, Distinguished Citizen Award, and Peace and Justice Award.

“Growing up in a home of dysfunction with no love I wanted to make sure I could help kids not experienced what I did growing up.”

In her spare time Coach Harris like travelling, shopping, dancing and just enjoying life.  She loves to hang out with her husband Marcus and daughter Monique.

We are honored to have Coach Tiffany Harris as the honorary captain of this year’s  Iowa vs Illinois High School Senior All Star Volleyball Event in the Quad Cities.  Thank you coach for being a huge part in the development of the great sport of volleyball and our youth over your career.
